Here's a holiday stay that might just float your boat.
The Phutawan Raft House in Thailand is a remarkable floating resort consisting of 32 cabins that can only be reached by boat.
Located on Cheow Lan Lake in Khao Sok National Park, the resort lies within an ancient rainforest, surrounded by glistening emerald-green waters and towering limestone mountains.
The lake is dotted with over one hundred limestone karsts, remnants of what were once mountain peaks, which pierce the lake's still waters.
Guests have two choices of accommodation - a 'capsule' or 'glass wall' house, both of which offer standout views of the lake's 'beautiful scenery'.

And there's plenty to do. From fishing, kayaking and swimming to simply relaxing on the terrace, Phutawan promises a 'memorable experience' for guests.
The raft's on-site restaurant offers freshwater fish caught from the lake, with its speciality being fried giant gourami fish.
Other dishes available include hot and sour catfish soup, stir-fried chicken with cashew nuts, Thai spicy mixed vegetable soup with prawns, and more.
Visitors can also enjoy year-round boat trips on Cheow Lan Lake and a jungle trekking tour exploring Pakarang Cave via a bamboo raft.
There's also a nearby safari tour where guests might be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of some of the area's vast wildlife including clouded leopards, wild elephants, Malayan sun bears and tigers.

Phutawan Raft House has a four-star rating on Tripadvisor, with many hailing it as an 'excellent adventure' and a 'unique experience'.
However, one reviewer, Lara Osgood, who stayed at the raft house last year, noted: 'The rooms are quiet, basic and no bathroom - you use a communal bathroom, so if creature comforts are essential, then look elsewhere.'
Stays at Phutawan Raft House start at 2,800 baht (£61.77) per person, for two days and one night.
To reach the raft house, guests can take a 30-minute boat ride from Cheow Lan Municipal Pier in Ban Ta Khun District. Transfers from the nearest airport in Surat Thani can be arranged.
